Honea Vineyards is a new family vineyard located near the town of Los Olivos in the Santa Ynez Valley appellation. With the exception of a small block of Merlot, the vineyard is planted to Italian varieties specially selected by and for Steve and Chrystal Clifton and their all-Italian label, Palmina.

Honea Vineyards is a family partnership founded by the grandparents of the family, Milt and Marilyn Honea. Milt is a retired corporate executive who has chosen the vineyard as his retirement occupation. He serves as General Manager. The entire family consists of three children and spouses plus ten grandchildren. Many family members are active in the business: Grandson Matt lives on the property and acts as foreman. Adult grandchildren Jennifer, Julie and Chris have worked through the planting and development. Younger members Allison, John, Ian, Jeffrey, Adam and Will are becoming increasingly involved.
